Stacy DeLonge was an assistant coach with Michigan State for 17 years, where her primary responsibilities included working with the Spartan goalkeepers.
DeLong has tutored five of the program's top all-time goalkeepers in Nicole Galas, Jill Flietstra, Courtney Clem, Gabrielle Gauruder and Lauren Kozal (currently in the NWSL with the Portland Thorns).
The former Stacy Heller began her coaching career as an undergraduate assistant at Michigan State, following a stellar four-year career as a goalkeeper with the Spartans. The Madison, Wisconsin, native was a two-time All-Big Ten honoree, including first-team accolades in 2002. She posted a school-record 34 wins while her 22 shutouts rank second as her career in Green and White remains one of the most successful in school history. Heller was recognized as an Academic All-American in 2003.
Prior to arriving at Michigan State, Stacy was a youth High-School NSCAA All-American, two-time 1st team All-State selection and 2 time State Champion for Madison West Highschool. She was also a 3 year letter winner in basketball and volleyball.
DeLonge, who holds an NSCAA "C" License and is a 2005 graduate of Michigan State University. She holds a master’s degree in Coaching from MSU as well.
